review 1: What an awesome book!! I love how Nancy Moser had multiple characters with multiple story lines that intertwined with each other. It was also awesome how everything went back to their realization that John 3:16 really is the key to what God went through with sacrificing his only son so that we have an chance to live an eternal life with him. I look forward to reading many more books by Nancy Moser in the future.
review 2: I chose to read this book because of the football angle, but there is so much more here. I have been a Christian my whole life (in words), but have only recently focused on an intimate relationship with God (and am still learning). The characters in this book are so real and relatable. They have inadequacies (both recognized and unrecognize... mored) and insecurities, just like me. I saw pieces of myself in each character, which made it easy to care about them and be inspired by their unique paths of understanding.Nancy Moser is an author I will seek out in the future because of this book. less
