review 1: A plain, ordinary 42- year- old woman hears God nudging her to buy a Harley, search the bad section of town to reunite a prostitute and her dying father, open her home to drug-addicted prostitutes that want to clean up, and further act in a manner that causes her friends to think she has lost her mine. Unusual premise with humorous episodes intermixed with heartwarming ones. The multitude of characters are somewhat stereotypical but several of them, including Ollie, show real growth and change.
review 2: I really liked this book. Its about a girl who feels the "Nudge" to go and buy a motorcycle while sitting in church. Not know what it was at first the "Nudge" kept coming back to her. She finally figured out it was a God thing and did just that. It was an ... moreadventure that took her to the "bad" part of town and opening her house to "questionable" people. It was a really good story line and I kinda hated when it ended. She loved riding her motorcycle and being a motorcylist myself I knew her feelings. I would recommend this book. Oh but wait - I found 2 other books in this series and purchased both of them. Now I can't wait to read them to see how it all ends..... less
