The Burn, Rewrite, Reread Book Tag

Happy Monday lovelies!

Today I will be doing the fun Burn, Rewrite, Reread Book Tag! I was tagged by the awesome Lyndsey at Lyndsey’s Book Blog and the awesome Anna at Reading Peaches!! Go show their blogs some love and check out their choices for the tag!

Rules:
  • Randomly choose 3 books (Tip: Use the “Sort > Random” option on your Goodreads’ Read shelf.).
  • For each group, decide which book to burn, which one to rewrite, and which to reread (a lot like Kiss, Marry, Kill).
  • Repeat until you’ve completed three rounds (or six).

Round One:

In order, Burn, Rewrite, Reread.

The Bone Witch just did not do it for me. All That Remains had a great plot, but could have been better, and of course I LOVE Stalking Jack The Ripper!!

Round Two:

In order, Burn, Rewrite, Reread.

I did not enjoy the abuse and incest in The Roanoke Girls. Passenger had a great premise, but could use a little rewrite for more excitement! The Dark Days Club is one of my favorites!

Round Three:

In order, Burn, Rewrite, Reread.

Unblemished had too much that I would rewrite. The Bear and the Nightingale was great, but there were a few spots I would rewrite for more enjoyment. Gunslinger Girl is still my favorite at the moment!!

Round Four:

In order, Burn, Rewrite, Reread.

Revenant: Blood Justice just had too much that I did not enjoy. The Girl From the Well had a great premise, but story felt muddled. First Came Forever is one of my new favorites that I look forward to rereading before book 2 comes out!!

Round Five:

In order, Burn, Rewrite, Reread.

Crooked Boy was a DNF for me for several reasons talked about in my review. Roseblood had such potential and I feel like with some re-writing, it could live up to said potential! No Ordinary Star is so beautiful and I cannot wait to reread the whole trilogy!

Round Six:

In order, Burn, Rewrite, Reread.

The Wild Queen was just so boring, in my opinion, and felt more historical than fiction. The Host was great, but could use a little more excitement. My Lady Jane was super funny and will be reread several times in the future and during reading slumps!

The tag is open to all who would like to do it! It was fun! I couldn’t find the random sorting on my Good Reads list, so I just randomly chose from the pictures I had in my media folder on WordPress.
