review 1: Carrie is a biofeedback therapist; she's used to calming people. But that's hardly the situation when she joins her best friend photographer Meg in Key West. Meg's brother-in-law Pete is dead, an apparent heart attack, just prior to the performance boat race. Her husband Kev is missing and the local police suspect him. The FBI (or is it) believes the mob arranged the hit. It's a good story, nicely paced with developed characters. Tesler does a fine job portraying the Key West setting and the excitement surrounding the big race. And there's some fascinating info about poison.
review 2: This was the first book that I deliberately bought for its cover. After I read it, I hunted down every one. I thought biofeedback was an interesting twist on a cozy mystery. I lov
... moreed all the characters, and Carrie is a very strong heroine. I was heartbroken when the series ended. Now thanks to e-books, kindle, etc. there's a resurrection, and new following for this series. There's new artwork, too. I strongly recommend this author. less
