review 1: Este libro es un tanto desgarrador. Trata del secuestro de la autora, Natascha Kampusch cuando tenía 10 años de edad. A partir de ahí fue llevada a un zulo de apenas 6 metros cuadrados donde sería su casa prácticamente los 8 años siguientes de su vida.La autora nos cuenta las diferentes fases por las que pasó su secuestro, los maltratos físicos y psicológicos a los que fue sometida y su final autoliberación aprovechando un descuido del secuestrador.Sorprende también la reacción de la gente cuando ella pedía ayuda, así como el resto de la sociedad que, en lugar de tratarla como víctima, optó por otras alternativas más sorprendentes.Recomendado para todos los públicos.
review 2: This was a bit disappointing. I don't know what to say, as my inst... moreinct is to dislike her & her view of her situation, but there was an entire chapter about how most people feel the same about her because they "don't understand". I guess I haven't been in her shoes & shouldn't judge her outlook. I found it irritating that she outrightly left out huge portions of what was inflicted on her. I know it's her story to tell, but if she is so intent on 'setting the record straight', I felt she should've told the whole story. Regardless, I'm glad I finally found out why she wanted to own the house she was imprisoned in, & I would of course wish her good fortune. She's had more than her share of the bad. less
