review 1: In this book we see two people who are just married, not sure on how to deal with things. doing what they think is best rather then asking the other. Sarah longs for the passions that is meant to come with having a husband. she wants him to want her the way she wants him. but little does she know he wants her far more then she realises. Colin is struggling not to go to his new wife. thinking he has no right to go to her as often as he wants. he thinks his wife deserves more then to have him force himself on to her. Well I have to say this book was better then I thought it was going to be, but I'm not sure why I had my doubts because I love Natasha's work so much. Maybe I thought it was going to be like Greys lady. but no it was different and as good as greys lady. Natasha ... moreis a really good writer and has a way to get you interested right from the start. There is something for everyone in this book and if you haven't read it then I really think you should give it a try, I think you will be really glad you did.
review 2: What a great, sexy short read. This is my first book by Natasha Blackthorne that I have read and I was delighted and asking myself what took me so long. Lady and Lord Lockhardt have been married for three months with very little sex life to speak of. Lady Lockhardt has taken advice from her friends on how to dress to entice her husband into bed but he doesn't seem to notice but he does notice that she refuses to waltz with him at any of the balls. Lord Lockhardt has a bad personal experience that makes him believe that a wife should not be treated like a plaything and should only be quickly bedded in order to produce an heir. She has spoken with her friends of their relationships in the bedroom with their husbands and wonders why he doesn't want her but little does she know that he is taking all the self control he can muster not to ravish her nightly. After drinking a little too much he decides he is going to insist that his wife waltz with him at her birthday party to show everyone that she belongs to him and this begins their new awakenings to each other. This story made me smile its such a sweet and sexy read. It's nicely written for such a short story that focuses on one marital problem. I just fell in love with the characters and it was beautifully done. I would recommend this book to historical romance fans it's a delight to read and only took me about an hour to finish so everyone should be able to find time to squeeze in this short, sexy read. less
