review 1: Josie's mother got pregnant with her at age 16. And she has never met her father because he moved away to Arizona before she was born. All her live she has only though the worst of men but know she has to try and change that because she may just be dealing with her own boy drama as well as the sudden reappearance of her absent father.For Keeps was a charming book I will admit that but for me it felt like it lacked that 'something' which every great book has. If you ask me what that 'something' is I honestly wouldn't be able to tell you because you will find that it differs from person to person.
review 2: It wasn't really anything special. For the most part I was listening to a girl complaining about her life and her daddy issues, her mommy issues, and how her ... morefriend isn't loyal enough. And don't even get me started on the boy. I hate these books that make the love interest a minor character, what's the point of having them there then. The romance was boring in my opinion. From the beginning the girl has a crush on the guy and I feel like I missed a big part.It's a nice story but like I said before it's nothing special. less
