review 1: This was a very good free read. I only gave it 3 stars because of the length and the ending. It feels like this short was just a tiny sip of the full story and I was left really wanting more.Ryan and Justin were first loves in high school but Ryan left Justin to try to get a big break in Vegas for his singing career. 5 years later, Justin discovers that Ryan is a male prostitute and although he is still hurt at the way Ryan left him all those years ago, he can't turn his back on Ryan....especially since he still loves him.It was a sweet story in parts, but ultimately, there is so much left unsaid and questions left unanswered that I couldn't give it more than 3 stars.
review 2: Seducing My Beefcake Roommate is a wonderfully-written story, with a horribly-cra
... morefted (perhaps deliberately provocative) title. The two don’t seem to mesh, which means it wasn’t quite the story I expected, but perhaps more of a pleasant surprise because of it.This is a touching tale of forbidden love once lost, and then found, only to be lost again. It’s also a story of dreams, and of how far reality often veers from those dreams. It’s a remarkably romantic story that manages to pack a lot of emotion into a minimum of words. While it has its erotic elements, particularly towards the end, they’re less the focus and more a flavouring. Both characters are very well-developed, so much so that you know there’s a life lived off the page. Not that the life lived on the page isn’t complete, but you really have the sense that these are real people who continue to exist through both ends of the story.Sadly, we don’t get a happily ever after, but the ending is still a satisfying one. less

I was going to rate it 3.5 stars, but since the ending was kind of disappointing I decided on 3.

I enjoyed it an even though the characters are male. I can still relate to them.

I was disappointed with the ending, because I like HEA's. Great writing.
