review 1: I am both an avid reader and student doing Psychology at sixth form. If you want to continue learning about Psychology outside of college like me, or maybe you just want to learn something new...then this book is seriously perfect -there are a handful of studies that I've already encountered through college eg. Milgram/Bandura but what I love is that there's more depth included of the psychologists themselves, which is something college textbooks hardly do. I think is quite endearing as not all come from rich backgrounds and some had difficult lives themself. It's nice to see that anyone is capable of making an impact on society no matter what the circumstance. Beautiful presentation too. I feel it always leaves me with a sense of enlightenment and motivation to make as a... more profound impact as these guys in the future - a staple book for Psychology enthusiasts!!!
review 2: This book is slightly addictive. It's a series of random psychology concepts, easily, and briefly explained. Everday, before bed, I read a couple (or a lot) of them, and I'm quite sad it's over. 3But the good thing is, it articulated social and cognitive psychology concepts that I'm really interested in, but just didn't know they exist. So from here, I now have a trail I can follow to find more books talking about these particular topics. less
