review 1: Was surprisingly worthwhile. Gleaned a more detailed, insightful history of their beginning that hasn't been told ad nauseum in previous interviews. As well as a more detailed & intriguing revelation of what specifically inspired their reunion. Speaking of which... I wanna hear "You Got My Heart" ~ hope it's on the new album or that they sing it on tour or somehow we get to hear it eventually. It'd be a crime not to let such a pivotal song be heard! (It brought Donnie & Joe's wife to tears and was part of the reunion inspiration.)
review 2: I am not embarrassed. I loved the New Kids in the late 80's/early 90's and love them to this day. The book was a little slow in the beginning telling how the group was formed (I read that in teen beat years ago haha).My inne... morer preteen smiled when my first concert in 1989 in the rain at Great Adventure was mentioned as well as the Giants Stadium show I saw at their peak in 1990. It was sad to read at that time they were sick of each other and were having a miserable time.It was interesting to read how the reunion came together and it is evident how much they love their loyal fans. I will be loving them forever. less
