review 1: It's true that the characters were very very whiny! They were 21-year-olds but they acted like teenagers. Yes, they were kind of immature but their conversation about internships and future jobs showed that they were not just easy-go-lucky persons but were also proactive. Although Riley's rants about getting old with 20 cats or so became trite, overall, this book is very funny! And I think I'm in love with Max Fletcher! I wish I had a childhood best friend like him. :)
review 2: Good, cute totally realistic book! The thoughts of the characters and actions were on point. It was a quick, light read and I enjoyed it. The story was funny, and quirky and had a great ending, i would reccomnd it for anyone who wants to go back to what its like to be a young naive adult
... more again and the author does make it pretty clear this is the type of story she was going for, so you may want to do your research before you read! less

This book is entirely cringe worthy and gush worthy, and that's what makes it so great.

Easy to read very colloquial but also predictable and essentially forgettable.
