review 1: Wow, where do I start with this one? There were many times I wished I were Jessica, then there were a few times I was thinking no way would I want to decide between those two hot men. Jessica had fallen in love with Storm, a rock band member who left her after being together for many months. She was devastated because she thought he loved her. After losing her job she decided it was time to head to the big city and see if she could get a job there. Time to leave the past behind and start over where the jobs are better. While waiting to go to a job fair she sees a man that looks like Storm, could he have followed her to the city looking for her? She runs to the coffee shop he enters and a walk up to say hello, only to find it wasn’t Storm. It was the hot and passiona... morete Dane, the head of cooperation with his brother Rafe. It was a business their father had started and handed down to the boys. They have a family history that has been rocky. Dane was the golden child while Rafe was the disappointment to his father. Dane needed his brother but Rafe took off over a year ago. Dane sees Jessica stuck in the rain trying to get a cab when he decides to go to her rescue. He picks her up and takes her to the job fair. Now this is where the story gets interesting. Dane and Jessica “date”, okay so it was physical but they did share some personal details about their past. She told Dane about how Storm had loved her and she loved him and then he left her. How she was crushed over that and is trying to get past it so she can love someone again. Dane told her about the relationship with his brother. How he used to see his father abuse Rafe and he couldn’t stop it. How he tried to help Rafe once when he was forbidden to go to prom but that only ended up in a mess. Rafe thought Dane was trying to steal his girl from him after she kissed Dane. They found they both were longing for that one relationship they missed the most to come back.Jessica does find a job, as Dane’s personal assistant. They agree that they can work together even though they have a physical attraction to each other; they just have to keep emotions out of the relationship. As the time passes she makes friends with Melanie and moves in with her and starts her life over again, until the past finds her and Storm shows up at her work place. He came to find the one woman he regretted leaving behind. At the same time, Rafe comes back to the city, trying to find out what he wants from life. Dane and Jessica caught in the middle of this craziness. This was a fantastic book. There are so many twists that I didn’t mention here because you just have to see the story unfold for yourself. I was glued to this book, didn’t want to put it down because even though I figured out what was going to happen early, when it finally did it was so much more intense than I expected. Make sure you get your copy of this book, the sex is hot, the passion is massive and the twists and turns of emotions and events will leave you breathless and begging for more.
review 2: This book was ok. The sex scenes were hot, but there was really no character development. I grew tired of Jessica's indecision. Daine was dreamy, but I grew frustrated over his treatment of Jessica. Storm/ Rafe or whomever he wanted to be was ok ,but I didn't really care for his re-introduction into Jessica's life. He didn't really didn't know who or what he wanted. I could've really been okay having not read this book. less
