The Graveyard Book Graphic Novel
review 1: My collection is complete! I finally have the 2nd Volume to this brilliant graphic novel and I love em to bits! I want more! After reading the graphic novel adaptation of The Graveyard Book, now am wishing that Gaiman would do a similar thing to his other books! How amazing would that be?! It'll be nice to see how the illustrators that he works with interpret the characters. Imagination is such a wonderful thing!
review 2: I liked this one even better than the first one! There's something good to be said about a book when you already know what happens and you still find yourself shouting, "No! Don't do it!" at the characters. That said, I prefer Lafuente's illustrations of Bod over anyone else's, especially Hampton's. Hampton makes him look too old, more 20s a
... mores opposed to a young teen. Same with Scarlett and Liza. Even the Owenses looked younger. It's like he's taking everything and trying to beautify it. Lafuente's interpretation jives more with what was in my head when I read the original novel. less
