review 1: This is really book 1 from the POV of Carter. So make sure you read Scornfully Yours before you read this one because there will be spoilers. So Pamela, the author, actually gets inside Carter's head a bit and how freaked out he is about love. You can see through the story he truly loves Emma but he does not know what to do about it. His past has caused him some trauma. You see the emotions he goes through when he and Emma break up, get back to together and of course when she meets Bass. The end of this story begins the next chapter with Emma leaving to go on her trip to Greece to film her movie.I am enjoying this author. Remember you can give her a test drive before buying because her first book Scornfully Yours is free. Also if you want to buy further books I suggest you... more buy the Christmas bundle because it is cheaper than the books individually even with the free books.I read this as an ebook. It is a quick easy read.
review 2: I read this book to see what went through Carter's mind during the first book. I will say, didn't make me like him anymore than I did in the first one. I think I rolled my eyes multiple times at some of the things he did, but expected Emma to forgive him. For someone who really loved Emma, he sure couldn't keep it in his pants. It seemed that the slightest temptation took to much effort for him to back off. Maybe it's because I'm totally against cheating and I feel that there should be no problem telling someone NO when they are asking you to do things, and that's why I don't get him. I dont' know, but he sure isn't on my favorite boys list, thats for sure. This book was all through Carter's POV and let you see what all was going through his head during Scornfully Yours. It was a good book, and there was definitely alot of sex.. ALOT OF SEX. I would recomend this book to my friends if they wanted his POV instead of going straight to Frayed. Don't get me wrong I really liked this book, I just don't like Carter. less
