review 1: From the blurb and maybe the cover, too, I thought this would be a collection of short stories about how French children behave, but this was actually a thorough analysis - more a behavioral science book. Too bad my child is grown up; I might have benefited from some of the information in this book! But even so, this was very interesting, and even though more analytical than narrative, easy enough to read.
review 2: An interesting insight into French parenting, assuming that the observations made by Pamela Druckerman reflect the overall parenting style in France (I read somewhere that it doesn't).
