review 1: This seems to be one of those love it or hate it books. I for one loved it. I found the main two characters, Oliva/Miranda and Stephen to be utterly charming and extremely likable. The plot, while pure fantasy, had me intrigued and wanting to read each night long after I should have put it down and went to sleep. My only real complaint with the book is that I wanted it to last longer. I'll keep my fingers crossed and hope for a sequel.
review 2: I thought it was interesting... I really liked the concept and storyline. There were two pieces I didn't understand and thought weakened the book. One, why was it so imperative that she go back and talk Shakespeare out of being a Jesuit? How had history been altered so that someone from the future had to go back and alt
... moreer history? The other thing I didn't understand is that with everyone trying to find out the Jesuit, why wasn't she ever suspected of being a witch? She knew so little of the customs and how to act that she surely would have gotten into trouble, and no one really questioned it. Other than that, it was a cute story. less

Cute time travel story. Great if you love Shakespeare, historical fiction and a sweet love story.
