review 1: This is a 31/2 for me Jessie goes to the Ozarks to visit her Aunt Will while getting over a job lay off which was followed by a broken engagement. She soon finds herself enjoying life on the mountains and interested in the Physicians Assistant who runs the local clinic. But what will happen with all the relationships she is forging when she heads home? This book took a long time to get interesting for me. I found myself easily putting it down to pick up other reads. It hooked me about halfway through, which is far too long to wait to get into a tale. Once I did engage with all the characters I found myself invested in their lives enough that I was disappointed not to see things through. Several characters had story lines that were left open. In the end it was a good read fo... morer me, just not a brilliant one.
review 2: I can always count on Pamela Morsi for a good book that is a true comfort to read. Whether it be one of her old historicals or contemporaries like this, I am never let down.I'd give it more stars, except for the fact that I didn't care for the secondary teen couple, and the hero and heroine really took a backseat to Aunt Will. However, Aunt Will was such an incredible character, I almost wanted the whole book to be about her! The info on the geology of the Ozarks was interesting as well, and actually made me want to take a trip to Arkansas. All in a all, a good book to end this year on! less

It was a nice book to read...but kind of repeated somethings over and over again.
