review 1: Wow!After getting to grips with the setting of Verdantia, this book completely rocked my world and is a massive 5 stars for me! Flight Leader Sophi is probably one of my favourite heroines - she's strong, independent and loyal but you grow to see her softer side through the story, and through the relationship with Eric. This story is chocked full of tense, vivid battles that make your heart race, and the chemistry between Sophi and Eric makes it pound out of your chest. I think I read this in one non-stop, couldn't put it down go! As well as the battles and the hot sex, you see some familiar and new characters woven in which add to my growing need to consume these fantastic stories. Ramsey, Steffania and more from Doral (swoon). More please PAK!!
review 2: Havi... moreng just read the first book and loved it, I have to admit I enjoyed this one more. Eric, a commander in the Queens Royal guard has met his match in Sophi DeLorion...Doral's youger sister. Eric expected a subservient little lamb, given that she was kidnapped and kept slave by the Haarb. Unfortunately being traumatised and then spending time in Oshtesh made her a fiery warrior woman 'Flight Leader' who ends up saving his life.She matches him in passion, overcoming her fear of intimate contact with men.Trying not to give away too much of the book as I think it's one worth reading and discovering yourself...but Eric and Sophi do discover love, becoming 'The Power of Two' Lots of action and passion in the desert! less
