review 1: 3.5/5; 4 stars; B+Another book I read and forgot to review last fall. Naughty. Anyway, this sci-fi erotica book was much better than I anticipated. I went right out and bought the other two books and both were great. The sexual aspect of the story was definitely in the realm of erotica but it didn't overshadow the sci-if story as much as happens in so many of the books in this genre.

Initially I was lost but once I realised there was a unique world Verdantia, sentient...needing to survive by the power created from vibrant and intense intimate rituals that take about seven years to master.Ari a warlord who has been trying to avoid a contractual marriage, one that had been arranged when he was 15yr... more with Princess Fleur.Fleur is beautiful but dedicated to saving her people regardless of consequence to herself. She is instantly attracted to Ari.Doral I loved the most. Strong Assassin and Ari's seccond in command, feared by everyone...but hiding behind so much of pain from the past. A tortured soul, he is part of the trio called the tetriach.Doral when together with Ari and Fleur can create emmense power sufficient to protect their world from enemies. The love that grows between all three of them is amazing.Loved this book. A fantastic, unusual read and I look forward to the next in this series! less
