review 1: The premise of this book is cute and silly. I liked the entertaining photographs and references to other kitty celebrities, but I think the book just dragged on a bit too long for me. I know this book is supposed to be somewhat tongue in cheek humor, but I think there just wasn't really enough material/jokes to keep it interesting/entertaining for all 125 pages. I found myself trying to speed through the end of the book just to finish it, which I shouldn't have to do if I am kept entertained. I won this book as a Goodreads Giveaway, and will pass it on to some other feline fanatic.
review 2: The book was fine. It was funny at points, but seemed to try too hard at others. I am genuinely afraid that some people out there are going to take this as a serious how-... moreto guide. If you're a cat lover and someone who is REALLY into cat memes, I guess borrow this from the library, but otherwise, it's really not worth it. Also, if you're writing a book with a cat loving audience, perhaps it is not the best venue for jokes about drowning cats? Maybe? less
