review 1: I am a Pearl Cleage fan, and have been since "What Looks Like Crazy on an Ordinary Day." What I enjoy about Pearl's novels is she carries her characters over to other novels. "Just Wanna Testify" dealt with with the current trend of vampires, but on a completely different level. It had characters from her previous novels, and you truly know the people involved in her stories, and what they represent.Pearl's stories, no matter the twists and turns, always involves love. Keep them coming, Pearl. I love it.
review 2: I am fan of P.Cleage and have enjoyed reading her books. I am a native of Atlanta and I have wonderful memories of the West End area. This book is a story about vampire sisters (who happen to be high fashion models)that come to Atlanta in order to mak... moree good on a contract.They end up crossing with Blu Hamilton in the process and he becomes involved trying to make sure the ladies don't disrupt his town. I love Regina and Blue Hamilton but the vampire story line was a little too much for me. I had a hard time getting into this book. The story moved slow. But I was interested in how Blue was going to save the day so I kept reading. The ending had a little twist. less
