review 1: Giselle and Saul have a bad first meeting. She stole his spot, but only because of the way he looked at her. Then they discover they must work together. Yet Saul has to get a bit childish and remove her car from the spot – still not sure how that can be considered okay. He doesn’t really want to work w/ her either and questions her abilities later on. Giselle comes across as a fairly strong woman early on and Saul feels the need to bring her under some. Saul decides to use Giselle to deflect the unwanted attentions of his cousin’s tool shed wife – why in the world this alpha male couldn’t spell NO to her is beyond me! They soon fall in love, and neither of them want children because of their own childhood. Sounds good! They laid those cards on the table ... moreearly on. Giselle explains her childhood tragedy to Saul but she leaves out a key ingredient. However, as the reader you don’t get that until the epilogue which should close up a story, but this one invites the opportunity for a sequel. At least, Saul and Giselle seem to have a strong foundation for a HEA in this story so what could possibly go wrong?
review 2: Giselle dan Saul bertemu di area parkir, saat Giselle menyerobot tempat parkir milik Saul. Giselle tidak menyadari kalau Saul akan menjadi atasannya. Sebagai arsitek junior, Giselle bekerja untuk mendirikan resort di properti milik Saul. Saul sendiri kemudian meminta Giselle menjadi tangan kanannya untuk proyek ini.Karena posisi barunya, Giselle semakin dekat dengan Saul. Ketertarikan fisik diantara keduanya tidak bs terbendung lagi. Puncaknya ketika Giselle harus menemani Saul kembali ke istananya. Berbagi masa lalu dengan Saul, Giselle menyadari bahwa Saul adalah perfect lover untuknya.Alurnya sangat cepat. Dalam hitungan hari mereka sdh saling menyatakan cinta dan menikah. Satu2nya komitmen diantara mereka adalah untuk tidak mempunyai anak. Sepertinya novel ini memang semacam pengantar untuk buku kedua. less
