review 1: This is just a good funny romance with a mysterious guy and a smart, funny women. It is the first of Penny Reid's book I have read, but I will search out the rest. One problem. The line spacing of the book itself drove me crazy. With a space between each text paragraph, there was a lot of white on the page and it just irritated me. Each little paragraph wanted to be a section or something, really bothered me. Trying to get over it.... Why did they do that?
review 2: This book was in between a 2 and 3 star rating for me. I wanted more dialogue rather than being inside the heroine's head so much, and when there was dialogue it didn't feel like it was anything anyone would actually say. The mystery of Alex dragged on a bit too much, and the heroine came across too
... more sex starved for someone who was obviously fine for not being kissed in 2 years! With that said though, the ending did help me up it to 3 stars because of the epilogue being from Alex's POV. less
