review 1: This book is the fabulous continuation of Janie and Quinn's love story and their road to the alter. Reid definitely knows her craft and I enjoyed this sequel just as much as the first book! I don't think I've ever encountered such a delightfully funny and quirky character quite like Janie before. I also think I need a Quinn of my own. I loved his funny texts to Janie and how protective and sweet he is with her. We get more insight into what makes those two tick in this book. The secondary characters are also amazing and leave you wanting to get to know them more. I look forward to reading more books in this series!
review 2: Simply put - I loved this book - it's got to be one of the funniest books I've read to date. What's not to love about Janie? - She'... mores awkward, weird, smart and sprouts trivial facts at any given time. It was like living inside her head, being privy to all her thoughts. Quinn: "Stop it." Janie: "stop what?" Quinn: "Stop having an entire discussion without me."Quinn, Quinn, Quinn - Sir McHotpants Von Grabby Hands ... beautiful soul, "quiet Quinn intensity", serious, strong, protective and a lovely sense of humour (if he allowed it to escape). "His face split with one of his rarely used and extremely dazzling wide smiles."I loved the term of endearment "Kitten" that they discussed and agreed on. Too sweet coming out of Quinn's mouth.Quinns texts were hilarious.Looking forward to the rest of the series of knitters. less
