review 1: This was the first Peter Meredith book that I've read, and I'll definitely be looking for more. Like some of the best Zombie/Apocalyptic books, the actual disaster takes a bit of a backseat to the characters and their development. And like the best zombie books, also drives home the point that sometimes the most dangerous thing to be worried about can be your fellow man. It's not perfect by any stretch, since some of the editing is a bit 'janky' and the stereotypes are incredibly overdone. But it's very easy to ignore those as quibbles considering how absolutely engaging the book is.If you're a zombie fan you really do owe it to yourself to give this series a shot
review 2: What I love most about this novel is Peter Meredith's fearless writing style. He will
... moreshow you how scary an Apocalypse is in a "no holds barred" type of way. This novel will also tease your brain with its economic, political, and social themes. You'll fully become committed to learning more about the lives and the fate of these characters, as if they were people you really knew. This novel is definitely worth checking out. less

Decent zombie fiction. I've read possibly too much, and this was among the better stuff.

Loved it. Even people who aren't fans of the genre should really consider it.
