review 1: This book starts with Serena a young voyeuristic photographer who has moved to London to move her career forward its Halloween and she finds herself out in the city. Whilst capturing pictures of children enjoying the festivities she comes across Gustav Levi a handsome man but has a dark soul due to baggage from his marriage to Margot. He takes Serena under his wing after seeing some of her pictures and offers to show them in his gallery. There is a strong pull between them but things are not as they seem. Please read this book and follow their story its a great read. This book does have a cliffhanger but dont let it put you off.
review 2: The author pens "The Silver Chain" with all the darkness and danger you would expect, but I had a hard time connecting ... morewith the characters. I found that it was a bit slow in the beginning it did eventually speed up, but I found it hard to follow. All in all, the story wasn't that bad and the ending was suspenseful enough to make you want to see what happens next.This review is based on a complimentary copy from the author which was provided for an honest review. less
