review 1: I can't quite place my finger on it: dystopian, yes. Young star-crossed lovers, yes. Matter-of-fact portrayal of gay characters, definitely. I don't know, it's dark, erotic at times, dangerous, thrilling - this is the second time I'm reading it, and I'm loving every minute, again. Wonderful book, about-to-be prolific writer (book 3 comes out in October, companion novel already published) and amazing storytelling. Wouldn't be surprised if this is turned into a movie at some point, you'd find me first in line.
review 2: Amazing book, kept me on the edge of my chair the entire time, either with suspense, or amazing plot points. Its going to kill me having to wait until the next books come out, i want to know what happens now!!! Amazing characters, so in de... morepth, hard to find such quality gay book that has an actual storyline and doesn't just hop from one sex scene to the next. Anyone thinking of reading this, you MUST its soooo great. less
