review 1: Ryan and Ellis are hot. This story has it all, sexy MC club, hotheaded badass marine/biker chick, a great love story, drama and excitement, steamy as sin sexy and a HEA. Ryan had a serious crush on Ellis when she was a kid. She took off to the marines to get her life in order. When she returns to visit her brother, head of the MC, Ellis makes his move and lets her know he wants her. Too bad for him, she already has a boyfriend. In their journey to each other they face some pretty big obstacles.
review 2: Hard to get into this book. Such contradictions. Former Marine woman who let herself be beaten and scared by her supposely boyfriend, even with half a world distance. She likes her brother but hates him too, not sure about her real feelings about Ellis, former ... morecrush but once he shows how much he is into her, she barely wants more than sex.... It was just weird. Also the fact that nothing goes on beyond the club, no real job or life makes it very boring and unrealistic. Stopped at 50% I just couldn't finish it. less
