review 1: This is my first review of the series, upto know i have loved the series. in this book there is two pov, shane and claire. i like it, but unfortunately i want to shout at claire "you are being so dense" and want to smack her. despite all the clues that is given to claire about what is happening around her, she ignores the clues and stumbles about. first time i am fustrated by this book. i struggled to get through it sadly. this it the reason why i only give it two stars.
review 2: I think this could have done without Shane's perspective. Not that it wasn't nice to hear from him but the book lacked some suspense with his side thrown in. I wanted to be surprised, and feel hurt alongside Claire by what he was doing.Probably the weakest of the series so far in my o... morepinion. Nevertheless it was great to keep reading about the characters. As vampire series' go this is definitely one of the top and I love the way vampires are both sympathetic and relatable but most assuredly NOT on our side. less
