review 1: I liked The Morganville Vampires Volume 2 just as much as Volume 1. The characters were still their trouble making selves and there was just as much action to this plot. I enjoyed learning a bit more about a few of the characters pasts this time in books 3 and 4. And of course with a true cliffhanger ending in book 4, I'm going to have to go out and buy the next couple of volumes in the series so I can find out exactly what happens next!
review 2: This book had a surprising turn in the story, which brought a whole new perspective, as well as a bitter twist, to the idea of immortality. The story brings a new view of vampires onto the reader. This book is written in an unusual way, which has a nice proportion of thought and action at the same time. At some parts ... moreof the story, the author seems to deliberately leave out some thought so that the reader could kind of fill in the blanks according to their own personality, and make their own personalized Claire. less
