review 1: I enjoy reading a well edited fast paced book and this one fits the bill. It has a little bit of everything - rock star, good girl, bad relatives, drama, and romance. This is a twist because he is a rock star ten years removed from his heyday, so we are dealing with a recovering addict trying to lead a semi-normal life and not sure how to love after endless one-night stands. Kate is a tough young woman so busy taking care of family, she doesn't know how to let go. Irresponsible vs responsible makes for an interesting read.
review 2: What a great book! I discovered this on my recommended list, and tried it. It is about a reformed bad boy rocker in his late thirties. This former rocker actually has a somewhat normal job as an entertainment lawyer. It has conf... morelict and issues, but actually NO cheating which is usually the case with some of these books. Great romance and I loved the second book in the series as well, Rock Him. less
