review 1: Let me preface this by saying, this would originally have been a 5-star rating (4.5 rounded up actually) but the "Her fated cowboy" story COMPLETELY lost me. Way too slow, and nothing about it kept me going apart from the knowledge that there's more to come, therefore room to redeem ourselves :PSo yes, this was quite the raunchy hot half-naked grab-me-with-your-lasso selection of stories! It was a nicely composed collection, each author adding something special and interesting in the mix, which produced an impressively capturing result - in all its 600+ page glory! "Cowboy heat" and "Ride of her Life" were the 2 that captured me the most, for opposing reasons - one was so sweet and lovely, the other was pure orgasm on a plate!
review 2: I was a lucky winner of ... morethis book box set in the Cowboy 6 Pack Event, currently reading it now and will put in my review after each of the books!Cowboy Heat by Sable Hunter, Book 1:This book has such personality, the way the author portrays her characters in this story is fantastic. The humor, unselfishness, caring, sadness and love makes for some powerful emotions, this book has them all and more!Libby has such a sweet & strong mentality. All that she has gone and continues to go through, makes you want to go in and just take all the cares & worries away from her. To help her cope with the struggles of the life threatening disease she has to face on a daily basis. Aron is so focused & strong willed and I think sometimes has tunnel vision, that he doesn't see the miracle standing right in front of him. Will Libby defeat this disease, can Aron finally see the amazing woman that would dedicate what could be her last moments to him. Because that's how strong Libby's love is for Aron. Aron truly cares for Libby but is it enough, or could it be love. Only time will tell, but do they even have that!?I'm loving Sable Hunter's writings and look forward to reading more of her stories!Cowboy Jackpot: Christmas by Randi Alexander, Book 2:I really enjoyed this book, there was only one area where I struggled with this story but I'm not one to easily forgive.Gieselle has followed the rodeo circuit for quite some time, so mistaking her as a buckle bunny is fairly easy I suppose...along with her fun loving friend, Kira. But to mistake her as such can come with some consequences Boone wishes he could take back. Boone's just out looking for a good time with his buddy and little brother. However when he gets a come-hither look from Gieselle, there's no denying his basis needs...he just wasn't expecting his basis needs to turn into something much much more! Can Gigi overcome the hurt Boone causes or can this one-nighter become a life-timer!?Look forward to more great reads from Randi Alexander!Her Fated Cowboy by Donna Michaels, Book 3:Ride Of Her Life by Paige Tyler, Book 4:One hot cowboy would be a girls wet dream but two... boy oh boy, no make that men oh my men, they'd leave you speechless or saying quirky things.... I read this in a day cause I just couldn't put it down (no sleep for the determined or should I just say it...'horny', lol). It had my blood pressure up from the beginning all hot & turned on to laughing my butt off at some of the quirky sayings. Daisy just had a way of putting things. It's a must read! I'm looking forward to the next book 'Team Roping', from the sneak peek of this next book my goal is to grow up and be just like Dallas. She's gonna give a new meaning to 'Ride them Cowboys, Save them Horses'...lol...
