Decked out in my navy blue Yankees hat and armed with the courage of Percy Jackson I marched into the Empire State building and demanded directions to the 600th floor from a startled security guard.
Just kidding, here’s how it really went down.
Me: How do you get to the 600th floor?
Security guard: *laughs* You’re so serious about it. Like it’s a real thing.
Me: *gasps* It isn’t real?
Security guard: I don’t know, it’s a secret.
Update: So I went a second time and asked a different security guard. After laughing at me for a good five minutes he told me that they have a special tour on Sundays for Percy Jackson fans. Now I have no idea if this is true or not and I’ll be flying out on Saturday so I won’t be able to find out. I will call them tomorrow and ask about it though.
