review 1: Me gustaron mucho la primera y segunda parte de esta trilogía pero éste último libro me ha resultado espeso, lioso, porque el número de personajes crece y me tenía que parar a pensar quién era hijo/a, nieto/a de quién a pesar de que al comienzo del libro viene un árbol genealógico. Sinceramente, lo leí porque era el último de la trilogía y tenía curiosidad por saber cómo terminaban los personajes, pero no me ha gustado este último.Aquel que tenga curiosidad por aprender acerca de Nueva Zelanda y la cultura maorí, le recomiendo los dos primeros "En el país de la nube Blanca" y "La canción de los maoríes".
review 2: This highly addictive series continues to suck me in. This one had some pretty heavy themes, including prostitution, rape, and pos... moret traumatic stress syndrome (although not by name). It also got more into issues between whites and Maoris, and that was very interesting. This translation was not as good as the last book...still some colloquialisms that are out of place in a book set in the 1920's. less
