Monster High: Frights, Camera, Action; Monster High: Freaky Fusion; and Monster High: Great Scarrier Reef by Perdita Finn

I started the month of finishing up reading the Monster High books I had bought in March. My reading mojo had dipped, again, and I wanted something simple to read. These books were perfect.

Daddy’s gone A-hunting by Mary Higgins Clark

From the moment I read ‘Daddy’s Little Girl’ a few years ago, I have been hooked on Mary Higgins Clark. This book was from a pile of books I picked up in the charity shop. It has taken me a while to get to it, but the wait was so worth it. I  thoroughly enjoyed this book, and loved the twist it gave. The only downfall was, it felt too easy and quick to read. I seemed to fly through it.

Divas Las Vegas by Belinda Jones

Yet another charity shop purchase. In all honesty I only picked this book up in order to get 4 for £1.99. I had no plans of ever reading it but, for some reason I decided to give it a read. It is another girly, chick lit book that combines romance and humour. It was great to read. I really enjoyed this.

The Husbands Secret by Liane Moriarty

This book has been on my ‘to be read’ pile since the week it came out. I had read mixed reviews about it. I did try and go into with an open mind. However, I did find this book rather  and confusing to begin with.

When the story does start to unfold, it becomes quiet interesting. It is a great book to read and in the end I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I See You by Clare Mackintosh (not pictured as it was an ebook)

After reading her debut, ‘I Let You Go’ a few weeks back. When a friend of mine mentioned that there was another book by the same author, I downloaded it straight away. Sophomore books are usually not as good as their predecessor unless it is a follow on, which in this case, it is not.

I can honestly say that this is just as good and captivating as ‘I let you go’. The suspense and the twists are perfect. Clare Mackintosh has become my new favourite author. She does not disappoint.
