Book Lover’s Tag – For lovers of Reading.

My thanks to Brigid P. Gallagher for tagging me in this Book Lover’s Tag Tour. Brigid also has an amazing blog where she shares her love and expertise as a gardener, along with tours of some of Ireland’s most spectacular grounds that are open to the public. Here is her own Book Lover’s Tag post. https://watchingthedaisies.com/2017/09/06/book-lovers-tag/

Here are the questions for the Book Lover’s Tag tour.

Do you have a specific place for writing?

In my head and then at my desktop.

Book mark or random pieces of paper?

Bookmark

Can you stop anywhere or must it be at the end of a chapter?

Anywhere, since my Kobo picks up where I left off… otherwise!!!

A print book… anywhere with a bookmark.

Do you eat or drink whilst reading?

A cup of coffee, tea or glass of wine (unless I am in bed).

Music or TV whilst reading?

Never… need to focus on the book.

One book at a time or several?

Just one book at a time…

Do you prefer to read at home or elsewhere?

Anywhere as long as I am not doing the driving.

Read out loud or silently?

Silently

Do you read ahead or skip pages?

No… try to give every page its spot in the limelight, unless the book is poorly written.

Break the spine or keep it like new?

Pristine.

Do you write in your book?

No, I use yellow post-its if I need to make a note.

What books are you reading now?

I have been collecting the books of Wilbur Smith since 1964, but with all that has been going on the last year or so I had fallen behind. So for the last three months I have been reading the three I was missing. I am halfway through Pharaoh (The Egyptian Series)  having just finished War Cry (The Courtneys) and Predator (Crossbow).

Read all the reviews and buy the books:Wilbur Smith

In the last 12 months I have read and can recommend following Indie authors.

Mary Smith

Paul Andruss

Robbie Cheadle

Andrew Joyce

D.G.Kaye

Jack Eason

All time favourite book?

I have read all of the Earth’s Children series and in particular the first Clan of the Cave Bear three times. Jean M. Auel

My Nominations for the Book Lover’s Tag:

Please answer the above questions, link back to this post then tag three new book lovers.
I look forward to your answers.

Thank you Sally
