Waking up in Vegas was never meant to be like this.

Evelyn Thomas’s plans for celebrating her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas were big. Huge. But she sure never meant to wake up on the bathroom floor with a hangover to rival the black plague, a very attractive half-naked tattooed man in her room, and a diamond on her finger large enough to scare King Kong. Now if she could just remember how it all happened.

One thing is certain, being married to one of the hottest rock stars on the planet is sure to be a wild ride.

Review:

I’ve heard of Kylie Scott before but this is the first book of her’s that I read, this one intrigued me, I’ve always thought that stories that take place in Vegas are funny. The beginning of this book was fantastic, I loved that even from the beginning David was sweet to Ev when she was sick, and he helped her after.
The two main characters Evenly (Ev) and David were both great, I can’t think of one time that I got annoyed by Ev, she was a very relatable character. David just captured my heart in this book, he was so sweet and tender from the beginning, It was sweet helping her in the beginning of the book when she was sick, he is just so swoon-worthy.
Kylie Scott’s writing was so real, she had a way of describing things that made you feel as if you were there in that moment. I like that the issue that happens in the ending was relatively short and that most of it was David and Ev working out their issues, it was one of the better endings because their issues weren’t dragged out. The other bandmates were very interesting and I’m excited to read the next book in the series sometime soon.
