Charlotte Tilbury Makeup Review

I’m a huge fan of Charlotte Tilbury makeup and as a freelance makeup artist I like to have the best products in my kit. Building up my CT collection slowly, I have selected my three favourite eyeshadow palettes to review and share with you.

(Left to Right) Vintage Vamp, Dolce Vita and The Rock Chick.

Vintage Vamp

Starting with the Vintage Vamp palette, the darker shades are very warm sultry burgundy shades, which can be very complimentary to green and blue eyes, I like how you can build up any of these palettes exactly how you want, you could go for a very subtle look or a very dramatic look. The pop of gold is so pigmented and a great pop of glitter!

The Dolce Vita

I love this look on brown eyes, The primer is a great base which I finds brighten eyes and gives a good base for the other shades to blend on nicely. I use the enhance shade in the crease and along the upper and lower lash line, I then add the smoke shade on the outer corner of my lid and along my upper lash line. The pop shade is a really glittering bronze which I just love and I tend to apply this to the inner corner and middle of my lid.

The Rock Chick

The ultimate grey smokey eye. Compliments blue and brown eyes. The primer and enhance shade can be great for a day time look accompanied by a eyeliner flick on the upper lash line. The smoke shade can be built up, I tend to apply this all over my lid as I feel when I apply the pop shade it has a darker base which makes the sparkle really stand out, I also apply this all over my lid and line my eyes with a black liner to really enhance my eyes for a night time look.

Each palette retails at £39 which is a bit pricey, but so worth it! Stick it on your birthday list!
