review 1: I became very disappointed once I realized this book is not about time travel; it's about a schizophrenic. I don't think it should be shelved in science-fiction. My favorite story genre is the time-travel story, and when this book didn't deliver on its promise, I felt cheated. I had been wondering since the beginning why there was only one time traveler character and everyone else was just an ordinary person. Why was the author focusing so much on these people when a time traveler as a main character is so much more interesting? Other than that, the story's alright, I suppose, but since I flagged this review as having spoilers, you've probably already read the book. Let me know if you were disappointed, too.

Time-traveling government agents use extreme force to prevent the hags from meddling, which might upset their “perfect present.” But as they battle in 2011 over historical integrity, one of the agents connects with people he’s dooming by allowing the coming disaster to happen, and he starts to question the real purpose of his mission. Though shelved with other mysteries, The Revisionists is a literary crossover with writing so beautiful and characters so lovingly detailed that you would follow them wherever the story might go. less
