I remember hearing the news that the beautiful lion, Cosmo, at the Albuquerque Bio Park Zoo had passed away (in 2015). He and I had quite a few hellos – which was more like me waving at a full grown lion and him looking at me thinking humans are weird – when my family and I lived in Abq and had season passes.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been organizing my image files – as every photographer knows, there are thousands – I found one of my old photos of him.
He was a beautiful beast and I miss his face (and judgments).
