Wendy has worked really hard and with a great deal of skill and thought to complete her cream ensemble which we all loved. It is warm, has style and shows just how much you can achieve with wool when you think it all out carefully. We blogged about the cream poncho before. This is a pattern from the Bendigo Woollen Mills . Wendy has taken it a step further by adding the feather and fan scarf and then a loom knitted ear warmer/ cowl. Wendy included versatility in her creation of this ensemble. The feather and fan scarf is dressy but very soft and warm. We asked Wendy to put her cowl on as an ear warmer and it looks beautiful. It keeps your ears and head warm but the rolled edges frame your face and add interest. Wendy had changed the pattern of the poncho to make it more of a tabard top. It doesn’t have a roll neck. The neck is straight across. That way Wendy can decide what she wants at the collar line and can change the look of it like as she wishes.
