Deadpool: Classic Vol. 1

There has been a LOT of hype recently around Deadpool, and I love it! Obviously Ryan Reynolds killing his performance in the feature film Deadpool has been the direct catalyst for much of this buzz. For plenty of us who loved Deadpool well before the movie you will certainly enjoy this collection of Deadpool as this novel collects all of Deadpool’s first appearances in order. Deadpool is widely known as the character with the ability to break the “4th wall/dimension providing much comic relief and whacky instances of instigated turmoil on both sides just for the fun of it. Because of all this Deadpool makes for one of the most entertaining characters around the Marvel universe. However, he wasn’t always this way, so as I said, this novel, being a compilation of his first appearances, will  be a wonderful insight to his image early on in the begining stages of his development. You all  should love Deadpool Classics Vol. 1!

He’s the Merc with a Mouth, the Assassin with Elan, the Wryest Wisecracker of the Weapon X Program, now in a collection of his earliest sagas Deadpool, with sidekick Weasel in tow, sets out on a quest for romance, money, and mayhem – not necessarily in that order – only to learn he’s being hunted by an enemy he killed years before As if that isn’t enough, the Juggernaut crashes into the action, and it’s the unstoppable vs. the un-shut-up-able But all may not be lost if the sultry Siryn can inject a little sanity into the proceedings Will Deadpool be steered toward a better life by his new heartthrob, or stay the chaotic course he’s set for himself? The answer is Yes Guest-starring the New Mutants, Banshee, Sasquatch, and more Collects New Mutants #98, Deadpool: The Circle Chase #1-4, Deadpool: Sins of the Past #1-4, and Deadpool (1997) #1
