False Colors

(I’ve got Silver Medal for this one in my college, this poem is so close to my heart. I really wish it serves it purpose)

You had seen this world through colored glass.

You were never able to judge those hearts.

You were to busy to stand their grounds,

When you should’ve just turn around.

You left no stone unturned, to win their souls, to win their hearts.

All they did was kept you tearing apart, they kept you in the dark.

They kept you on the verge of rank & ruin,

When you were always in their tune.

They’ve played you fast & loose.

Now you’re scattered like collapsed mirror.

You feel like broken, you feel used.

They’ve slammed all their doors at you.

Everyone had sailed you under false Colors.

Their pride, their diginty, thier love for you.

All was fake, all was lie, nothing was true.

They were just sailing you under false colors.

Now you realize how wrong you’ve been.

It was so good & now it’s gone.

Why you couldn’t figure out what they’ve done.

When their criminal mind were playing along.

And now you’re scattered like collapsed mirror.

You feel broken, you feel used.

Cause Everyone sailed you under false colors.

You should’ve never been their receptor.

Maybe you don’t need to be scattered anymore.

You must recognize, what they are.

So they can’t sail you under false colors anymore.
