For those of you who are not aware I am a highly emotional person who could literally cry over anything and everything. Whenever I get a whole hit of emotions, whether they be anger or happiness, I get pretty close to crying because I get overwhelmed. Now I just finished First Command: A TIDES Novella by Alex Lidell and am so close to crying it isn’t even funny.
The amount of emotions that I experienced in 50 pages is phenomenal. I don’t know how on earth Alex managed to do that, but she did and I am now expected to wait until May for the next book. How am I meant to do that?
Okay enough of my mindless rambles and onto the review.
Pages: 50
My Rating: 5/5
Release date:26th January 2017
Series: Prequel novella to the TIDES series by Alex Lidell
Issue: Ebook
As I just mentioned, this novella is greatness bottled up in 50 pages of pure artwork. Every page of this book was better than the last and eventually I was at the end of this novella and finally sucked back into the real world with a suitcase full of emotion.
Right now I feel as if I have been in a car on a highway and then just pushed out suddenly with no warning (Not that I have any actual idea of what that would feel like…. I’m guessing a lot more painful that this situation but anyways…). I was fine until suddenly the novella ended and now I’m here trying to figure out how it all happened.
I was so intrigued in this book, right now I am so confused as to what has just happened. One minute I was aboard a ship, cruising the ocean sea with Nile and now I’m here not cruising the sea and I have no clue what to do with my life while I wait for May.
The writing is fabulous, the descriptions of everything is golden, the characters are amazing and I am so pumped for the next book it isn’t even funny.
The next book I believe is actually the first book (this novella just being a novella that takes place before the first book which will come out in May).
