India the place of food and culture but you can also say place of fascinating colors.
Being an Indian I have not tried all the food or seen much places out there. I thrive every single day to have adventurous plan to have a story on the smalls cities out there.
At the moment, I have discovered this yellow cake-like snack called Dhokla. It’s a Gujarati dish; made out of chickpeas flour, water, and oil. From a very helpful source, I got to know that this dish comes from way back in 1066 CE.
The recipe goes like this:
First, you mix all the dry ingredients that are the chickpeas flour and salt in a bowl. Then you add water and oil to the bowl.
Second, you transfer the batter in tins that can be used to steam.
Finally, stream until if put a screwer it comes out clean. That can be roughly 15 mins.
There is also another step to put a tadka on it. This basically means you must heat oil, mustard, and chill in a pan and then pour it over the hot just steamed Dhokla.
