Happy new year to everyone! 2018 is a very big year in my life and in the political sphere. Personally, my goals are to fix the family squabbles I’m going through, to change jobs (hopefully out of this city too), to improve on being a husband, to be more generous to my generous father, to gain more knowledge of my future, to learn more languages (will be taking an Italian class! Includes Russian), to become more self-assured, to travel interprovincially more often, and to continue this blog and my quest for knowledge. Thankfully, the world is also changing, and finally for the better. I have an optimistic feeling about this year and it’s not just because it’s a new year and we all have that optimism on January 1st. The tides are shifting to our side of the equation. Universities are being alerted to the erosion of free speech, public comment spaces are increasingly being dominated by conservative voices, and thus conservative people and traditionalists are feeling more free to express their opinions. Big elections have recently occurred where conservatives have either been elected (e.g. Austria), or are leading the polls in upcoming elections (e.g. Italy, Czechia). Even in conversations with people, I realize that more and more people are fed up with political correctness, fed up with Trudeau, fed up with hearing about transgenderism on a daily basis and so on. People are also turning off the TV and avoiding the mainstream media, turning to alternative media more and more, who generally report the facts and don’t try to push any narrative. Also importantly, people are turning back to tradition, young people are embracing their ancestors more and more, I can see it with my own eyes. And more people have joined the alt-right or other right wing causes, giving hope for the future and our local politics, swinging the pendulum back.
I challenge my readers to keep being yourself, fight for what is right, keep fighting for the truth and standing up for your ancestors. Commit to being a better man or woman, and keep learning and striving towards goals, even if it seems fruitless or aimless. You can get to where you need to get to, and society can get to where it needs to get to. And in 2018, I am sure we will make one step forward toward those goals together!
Happy New Year 2018 to all!
