As it was for our founding fathers, I believe that the right to vote is the most important right guaranteed by the first amendment. This is the only weapon given to the American people to insure that those we elect serve us and rejects the idea that we serve them. However, when uninformed Americans cast their ballots based on television advertisements, and lies offered by Fox Noise, the right wing propaganda machine, the future of our nation is in jeopardy. Should Americans be allowed to vote if they cast their ballots based on emotions and not facts?
Sadly, the answer is ‘yes.’ That is the way a democracy works. However, we, the true Americans, have a right to question their intellect and their reasons for casting their ballots.
Criticism of chosen ignorance is as American as protesting.
Donald Trump is many things, but what he is not is an American, a supporter of the Constitution, a man of average intelligence, a qualified individual who should be allowed to bear the title of ‘President of the United States,’ or a man who represents the American people.
Millions of Americans voted for the most immoral man in America who is a self-proclaimed white supremacist, and a sexual predator, who allowed him to win the electoral college by just 77,000 votes. They are responsible for not only allowing Trump to use his position to enhance his personal wealth, they are allowing the Republican Party to insure that the wealthiest Americans experience increased profits while the working class will suffer additional loss of their quality of life and increased danger to their family’s future.
It’s time for the American people to grow up. They must ignore the lies of emotions and vote based on the facts. No one is to blame for the debacle which is Donald Trump other than the American people. Although there is no doubt that Trump colluded with the Russians; that the media gave Trump five times more coverage than all other candidates combined during the campaign; or that Comey damaged Hillary irreparably when he announced a new investigation into Hillary’s use of private e-mails just eleven days before the election; we must blame the voting public. It is also unimportant that sexism was involved. The only important fact is that millions of Americans failed to understand who they were supporting. Trump has always been one of the most despicable men in the world. He has never sacrificed a single thing for his fellow man. He has never donated a single dollar to charity unless he was assured that he would receive two dollars in return.
I am ashamed of millions of my fellow Americans. I have long been an advocate of the American people. We are the United States of America. However, when we vote for candidates who are opposed to our welfare; who refuse to support our needs and desires; we are self-destructing. This is what happened with Trump.
Donald J. Trump is the worst man in not only America’s history, he is the worst person in the world. If you voted for Trump, you should be ashamed. You must make an effort to know who you are voting for and ignore their campaign promises. Unless you support Trump’s beliefs in white supremacy, Islamophobia, homophobia and sexism, you cannot continue to cast your ballot for men and women who hate America and your family.
It’s not too late; we can take our country back. Republicans; every one of them; must be removed from office and give control of our government back to Independents and Democrats. America; the nation of our founding fathers; will end if we do not act and fight for our families and friends.
Trump supporters; you can atone for your huge mistake; join the revolution.
Please help me spread the truth; thank you.
