review 1: Like the way this book was written, starts with Piper Hadley's voice, and Joe O'Loughlin's voice is alternative throughout the whole story. No one is perfect, even the main character, Joe O'Loughlin. Joe has Parkinson's Disease, failing marriage, and a difficult teenage daughter. These make him more like a real person, not just a character in a book. This book definitely will keep you up until you finish it!
review 2: Michael Rotham's SAY YOU'RE SORRY kept me reading the book to the end. Natasha McBain and Piper Hadley, popular teenagers get reported missing and after detectives find Natasha's body frozen in a lake and Dr. Leece from the John Radcliffe hospital does a postmortem on her body, the story line bounces around discussing her childhood and academic s... moretruggles, how her father Isaac McBain abused her and how she was sexually abused by a number of men. In time Piper gets found handcuffed and drugged with Diazepam, having negative effects on her body the longer it stays in it until detectives free her and doctors do a nasotrachael intubation to create a gastric lavage to clean out her stomach. less
