review 1: This was such an interesting book. For the first 2/3 of it, I couldn't put it down, but then it started to feel a little long. Otherwise, I would have given it 5 stars. Fink does a great job not just of explaining the situation at Memorial in the days of and immediately following Katrina, but she also introduces you to the people involved, giving you a glimpse of their backstories as well as their roles at Memorial.
