My son asked me to make at Dinotruck. Being far from a master builder I found myself starting with the excuses of not having instructions, the parts, or the time … then I stopped.
Frankensteining some online instructions, I embraced the mish mash.
Here’s Ty and Revvit.
Considering that Lego Ty and Revvit are still intact a week later, I can safely assume that the new creations are sufficient to the expectations of a 4-year-old.
Now that my boys are showing interest in robots, I find that these pieces (Lego ids: 92013, 57909, 48171) are valuable in making armatures sturdy enough for a 4- and 7-year-olds without complete obliteration occurring within 10 minutes of play.
